NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT SETS TO REOPEN SCHOOLS ACROSS THE NATION


 Nigerian government asks schools to prepare for resumption. 

The Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 said this on Thursday when they delineate the new guidelines for the third phase of ease lockdown on the country.
Government also extend the nationwide curfew that has already been in place in the country for months now to 12am-4am. 
Meanwhile, this restriction isn't actionable to essential workers and those that just returned from overseas. 

Here are the Junctures from Presidential Task Force

. Markets to fully open 
. Hotels to remain open
. Parks, gyms, cinemas to fully open but 50% capacity 
Event centres - 50% capacity, not indoor event centres. 
. Eateries - outdoor services only 
. Bars and night clubs-remain close til further notice 
. NYSC to prepare for reopening when school resumes and to adhere to strict guidelines.
. Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure compliance in their elections, no face mask no voting 
. Religious centres - restrict opening subjects to current guidelines, recommended multiple services 
. Weddings, meetings- 50 people outdoors, preferably outdoor weddings,  must adhere to the rules. 
. Airport - Abuja/Lagos will open on 5 September, 2020 respectively.
