It is months now and university students have not gone to school. Just because of the virus that affected the country. However, The Federal Government being so kind through the President Muhammadu Buhari formed a committee known as Presidential Task Force (PTF) to help in the  fight to the virus.  Students are happy on hearing that Federal Government have permitted State government to resume school activities at any date of their choice, provided that they adhere strictly to the guidelines given by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and National University Commission "NUC" respectively.  Recently, the Rivers State University have announced Resumption date despite Academic Staff Union of Universities "ASUU" strike.   The memo released and signed by the registrar Dr. Sydney C. State government have started the necessary protocols in ensuring that activities begin in their state taking in to consideration the directives from the federal government and the Presidential Task Force (PTF).  Some states have resumed with few others yet to resume but of state that will resume school activities on Monday 28th September, 2020 will be highlighted.  There are only 5 States that have scheduled  their Resumption date to 28th of September. These are details on resumption  based on the various state government announcement.
